THE BOILER ROOM brings together one of the finest collections of furniture and art sourced from New Zealand’s industrial and institutional past, rendered in timber, metal and glass and steeped in the care-worn patina of age. The Boiler Room offers unique large scale furniture, restored or redesigned with a modern aesthetic, alongside smaller pieces saved from obscurity and given fresh context in the modern home or workspace.

Due to the demand for commission work and the need to keep creating one-off design pieces of excellence, The Boiler Room no longer runs a retail store. Instead selected works will be displayed on the website and at exhibition.

You can be advised of the exhibition dates and venue by subscribing to e-news or by checking this website regularly. Exhibitions will run for a month at a time, three times a year. We will advise you and look forward to seeing you there.

If you have a specific requirement, please contact us: we may have what you want in storage, be able to adapt an existing piece or custom build utilising our vast stock of original materials.
